You try to so hard to be good, to succeed, to make people proud. You look for approval from people. You work so hard and it shows! You do everything you can to be a good person. You work so hard to just be such a good person. You want to know one of my favorite things to do? I like to build you up, tell you I want what is best for you, so you can live your best life. But really I don't give a fuck! I do this so I can elevate you, build you up, give you confidence so I can verbally destroy you. I do this so I can tear you down into nothing. I do this so I can make you unhappy and put you in your place. I want you to have self doubt, so you turn to me for answers. I want you to question everything. "Do I have friends because people feel bad for me?", "am I being taken advantage of?". I will elevate you just enough to bring you down.
